And then last week happened. I was driving a vehicle that had no brakes. However, I didn't realize it until I was close to 4 way stop with vehicles approaching on all sides. I was slowing down, but not enough to stop. I swerved off into a parking lot, threw the vehicle into Park, prayed like crazy (as I heard the gears grind loudly) and dodged a few parked cars. I finally came to a stop right before I went over the curb and back onto the road.
I realized my body was shaking and my heart was pounding. My adrenaline had kicked in. I felt the results the rest of the day. At some point that evening, I remembered this blend (see below) and pulled it out. It was super helpful in calming me!
Tangerine is great for irritability, and calming the nervous system. When its diffused together with Marjoram, it can soothe emotions such as grief, anger and shock. Marjoram is great for physical stress and maintaining healthy blood pressure levels already in the normal range. Frankincense is calming and a great support to the body.
It's important to note, the limbic system (or our emotions) are what we're targeting here, so aromatic use (diffusing) is the best option.
